Jane S.JPG

Jane Shainberg

Circuit Steward
Currently on compassionate leave

I was born in Porthleven and lived here until I was 8 when my dad became a Methodist minister. We moved to Peterhead, Scotland then Moston in Manchester and finally to Bebington on the Wirral. Once I qualified as an Occupational Therapist I moved back to the area and have been here ever since. Life has not always been easy on our moves and has taught me a lot about different bodies of people within the Methodist Church helping me to grow in my own faith. One thing is for sure that Jesus’ love is the same wherever you are and in whatever you do - a very comforting thought! Jane joined the team as a steward in 2021.

Deb.JPG

Deb Borrett

CAP Debt Counsellor

My name is Deb and I started working with CAP after taking a few years out from full time work to be a stay-at-home mum. Before this I worked in the education sector, teaching children who had profound additional needs, and I also spent a couple of years as an administrator in the charity sector. I enjoy reading and playing the piano, but I most of all like to spend my free time drawing and painting (when the kiddies are in bed!).
